Offaly, will be home to the second <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hospitalityireland.com\/tag\/wendys\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wendy\u2019s<\/a> restaurant in Ireland, with the new Midlands location expected to open this May.<\/p>\n<p>The new Wendy\u2019s restaurant will create 60 new jobs, with recruitment now under way across a range of roles.<\/p>\n<p>The Tullamore location will also include a drive-through.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re proud to see Wendy\u2019s continue its growth in Ireland with the opening of the Tullamore restaurant,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hospitalityireland.com\/tag\/michael-clarke\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Michael Clarke<\/a>, managing director, Europe, the Wendy\u2019s Company.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCorrib Oil has proven to be a strong partner, and we\u2019re excited to bring Wendy\u2019s \u2018globally great, locally loved\u2019 experience to more Irish customers when the restaurant opens this spring.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Best-Known Menu Items<\/p>\n<p>The Tullamore Wendy\u2019s will serve a menu built around 100% fresh Irish beef and hand-breaded chicken burgers and tenders, sourced from Irish-based food companies Kepak and Western Brand.<\/p>\n<p>The menu will also feature the brand\u2019s best-known items, including its famous square hamburgers.<\/p>\n<p>Breakfast options, wraps and kids\u2019 meals will also be available when the restaurant opens later this spring.<\/p>\n<p>Tullamore Retail Park is located just inside the N52 ring road, five minutes from Tullamore\u2019s town centre and approximately ten minutes from the M6 Dublin-Galway motorway.<\/p>\n<p>The site is easily accessible by car and public transport, offers free on-site parking, and provides a range of in-store shopping options.<\/p>\n<p>The Coming Years<\/p>\n<p>Over the coming years, Corrib plans to open ten Wendy\u2019s locations across Ireland, both as standalone restaurants and at select Corrib Oil service stations, creating more than 300 jobs nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>Further Wendy\u2019s locations will be announced in due course.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFollowing the fantastic response to our first Wendy\u2019s restaurant in Cork, we\u2019re delighted to confirm Tullamore as the location for our second Irish location,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hospitalityireland.com\/tag\/michael-dalton\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Michael Dalton<\/a>, managing director of Corrib Brands.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSet to open this May, the new restaurant, complete with a drive-through, will create 60 new local jobs and bring Wendy\u2019s signature quality, freshness and hospitality to the heart of the Midlands.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is another important step in our long-term expansion strategy.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Corrib Oil has confirmed that Tullamore Retail Park, in Co.
