{"id":280324,"date":"2026-02-04T13:53:11","date_gmt":"2026-02-04T13:53:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/280324\/"},"modified":"2026-02-04T13:53:11","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T13:53:11","slug":"cognizant-forecasts-annual-revenue-above-estimates-on-strong-ai-demand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/280324\/","title":{"rendered":"Cognizant forecasts annual revenue above estimates on strong AI demand"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">Feb 4 (Reuters) &#8211; Cognizant Technology forecast annual revenue above Wall Street estimates on Wednesday, betting on strong \u200bdemand for its IT services as businesses adopt <a href=\"https:\/\/tech.yahoo.com\/ai\/\" data-ylk=\"slk:artificial \u200cintelligence;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">artificial \u200cintelligence<\/a> into their workflows.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">The company has benefited from enterprise clients prioritizing AI-related \u200cdigital projects, with sustained demand for its AI and cloud services boosting productivity, cutting costs and supporting growth as generative AI gains traction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">&#8220;Our initial 2026 guidance reflects sustained momentum, backed \u2060by our commitment \u200cto advancing our strategic investments aimed at accelerating our AI-led growth strategy,&#8221; CFO Jatin Dalal \u200dsaid.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">The company expanded partnerships with companies such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/organizations\/microsoft\/\" data-ylk=\"slk:Microsoft;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Microsoft<\/a> and AI-startup Anthropic to attract clients and get ahead of rivals in a \u200bhighly competitive industry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">Most recently, the company partnered with 3Cloud, \u200cexpanding its Microsoft Azure services and capabilities in data and AI.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">Cognizant expects full-year 2026 revenue between $22.14 billion and $22.66 billion, compared with analysts&#8217; average estimate of $22.06 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">It also forecast annual adjusted profit between $5.56 to $5.70 \u2060per share, the mid-point of \u200bwhich is largely in line with \u200bestimates of $5.62.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-vbsvxt\">For the fourth quarter, Cognizant reported a revenue of $5.33 billion, above estimates of $5.31 billion.
