The singer, 35, looked sensational in the blue cheerleader dress which boasted a sequin blue, red and silver top detailing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rita put on a leggy display in red knee high boots and accessorised with dazzling silver hoop earrings.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Styling her blonde tresses in glamorous waves, the Poison hitmaker completed her costume with two blue and silver pom poms as she posed for sizzling snaps.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a short clip, Rita looked in good spirits as she ran on stage to perform in the eye catching cheerleader outfit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She wrote: ‘Apparently there\u2019s a big game this weekend. Anyway here\u2019s me as a cheerleader.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Sunday,\u00a0New England Patriots will play the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl with hitmaker Bad Bunny headlining the half-time show.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

It was revealed earlier this week by The NFL that Chris Pratt and Jon Bon Jovi will be introducing the teams at the Super Bowl.<\/a><\/p>\n

Pratt, a huge Seattle fan, will welcome the Seahawks to the field at Levi’s Stadium before kickoff, while rock icon Bon Jovi has been given the honor of introducing the Patriots.<\/p>\n

It comes after Rita spoke out after a song dedicated to her husband Taika Waititi was leaked online.<\/a><\/p>\n

She teased last month her fourth studio album will be released this year with a handwritten note that said ‘album 4’ alongside the caption: ‘2026 will be a good year’.<\/p>\n

The songstress’ track Tokyo Karaoke surfaced online with the lyrics inspired by her trip to Japan where she fell in love with the director, 50.<\/p>\n

According to The Sun, it was originally meant for her third album You & I and had the lyrics: ‘I always talked myself out of love like I was never really good enough.<\/p>\n

‘Now when I\u2019m down, you always lift me up. Slow kiss this cherry blossom lipstick off. So pour it up, this night is for us.’<\/p>\n

Rita responded to the leak on Instagram as she uploaded a screenshot of a fansite which had posted a link to the song.<\/p>\n

Brushing off the leak, the songstress told her fans, according to the publication: ‘Guess leaking is still a thing. Luckily I actually love this song. So enjoy. Thanks to whoever leaked it.’<\/p>\n

It comes after Rita said it was a ‘real eye opener’ becoming a stepmother to her husband’s children.<\/p>\n

The singer became a stepmother to his daughters Te K\u0101inga o te Hinek\u0101hu, 13, and Matewa Kiritapu, nine, when she married Taika in 2022.<\/p>\n

In a rare comment on her family life, Rita opened up about how being a stepmother changed her perspective on the world.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Sun, Rita said she finds the role ‘easy’, but confessed it helped her understand how much more there is to life.<\/p>\n

She said: ‘It’s really easy. We wake up, we work out together with the kids running on the treadmills, it’s a family affair.<\/p>\n

‘I have to say it’s been a real eye-opener to understand that sometimes there’s more to life than what you care about in that moment.<\/p>\n

‘I’ve realised there’s so much more, so [becoming a stepmother] did give me that.’<\/p>\n

Film director Taika shares his two children with his ex-wife Chelsea Winstanley, also 50, who he split from in 2018 with after seven years of marriage.<\/p>\n

The pair started dating in March 2021, before going public with their romance that August.<\/p>\n
