Face your darkest fears in the trailer for Bone Keeper, which look like a Lovecraftian twist on The Descent.<\/p>\n

The British cosmic horror creature feature is written and directed by Howard J. Ford (The Dead).<\/p>\n

In the film, a cosmic fireball crashes into remote woodland, awakening a terrifying creature hidden in the depths. In 1976, James Wheeler enters a cave determined to uncover the truth \u2013 and is never seen again. All that\u2019s found is a single frame of Super 8 film, capturing the silhouette of a horrifying creature.<\/p>\n

Now Wheeler\u2019s granddaughter, along with five explorers, set out to investigate the legend of the Bone Keeper. But deep in the caves, they realize they are being hunted, and the line between hunter and prey blurs. Will they uncover the truth and escape the creature \u2013 or become the next missing souls?<\/p>\n

Sarah Alexandra Marks, Louis James, Tiffany Hannam-Daniels, and John Rhys-Davies (The Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones) star.<\/p>\n

Bone Keeper will premiere at FrightFest Glasgow<\/a> next month before hitting Digital in the UK on April 6 via Plaion Pictures. A US release has not yet been set.<\/p>\n

Next up from Ford is The Dead 3<\/a>, the final chapter in the zombie trilogy he created with brother Jon Ford, and The Hatchery<\/a>, a survival horror film starring Terrifier\u2019s Jenna Kanell.<\/p>\n
