{"id":282975,"date":"2026-02-06T00:01:10","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T00:01:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/282975\/"},"modified":"2026-02-06T00:01:10","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T00:01:10","slug":"scream-7-box-office-targets-mid-30m-start","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/282975\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Scream 7&#8221; Box-Office Targets Mid-$30M Start"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/scream-7-box-office-targets-mid-30m-start.jpg\" data-caption=\"Paramount Pictures\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" class=\"entry-thumb td-modal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/scream-7-box-office-targets-mid-30m-start.jpg\"   alt=\"\" title=\"scream-7-box-office-targets-mid-30m-start\"\/><\/a>Paramount Pictures<\/p>\n<p>Early tracking estimates are coming in for Paramount and Spyglass Media\u2019s \u201cScream 7\u201d with the title headed for an opening around the mid-$30 million range.<\/p>\n<p>If those projections hold, it will be the second-highest opening for the franchise to date, behind only the $44.4 million debut of \u201cScream VI\u201d in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Right now, the film\u2019s tracking stats have the movie as a higher \u2018First Choice\u2019 amongst responders than \u201cScream VI,\u201d \u201cThe Conjuring: Last Rites\u201d and \u201cFinal Destination: Bloodlines\u201d at the same point ahead of their release.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets will go on sale on Monday after the film\u2019s pre-Game Super Bowl spot airs (the spot went online this past Monday).  It will be one of the bigger openings of the year so far, though next week\u2019s \u201cWuthering Heights\u201d is reportedly headed for an even larger $40 million debut.<\/p>\n<p>In the film, a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target.
