The Late Late Show is back on RTE <\/a>this week and it features a star-studded line-up that has something for everyone. Patrick Kielty<\/a> returns to the hot seat where he will chat with a diverse range of guests.<\/p>\n

This week’s show features everything from a Netflix star <\/a>to a soap legend and a comedy sensation. On top of that, the live studio audience and viewers at home will be treated to two performances by a popular rock band celebrating 40 years in music.<\/p>\n

The first guest to be announced is Irish actress Saoirse-Monica Jackson<\/a>. She will discuss her rise to fame in the global Netflix hit Derry Girls<\/a>, her recent role in How to Get to Heaven from Belfast and the wedding that became a viral cultural moment. She will also reflect how her Derry roots remain a core part of her identity and tease what fans can expect from her in 2026.<\/p>\n

Award-winning writer Lisa McGee<\/a>, creator of Derry Girls, will also be in studio to talk about her new series comedy-thriller How to Get to Heaven from Belfast. She discusses how growing up in the North continues to shape her creative voice and why she believes Derry Girls has resonated so strongly with audiences worldwide.<\/p>\n

Comedian Gear\u00f3id Farrelly <\/a>also drops by to share stories from life on the road – from touring with Joanne McNally to headlining his own shows. He will also reflect about how Dancing with the Stars brought him to a whole new audience.<\/p>\n

Best known for her iconic turn as Liz McDonald on Coronation Street<\/a>, Beverley Callard joins Patrick to discuss taking on her latest role in Ireland’s longest-running drama, Fair City<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ahead of her onscreen debut in Carrigstown, Beverley will share an exclusive first look at what viewers can expect from her character, why she’s embracing this next chapter with such excitement and how she has been settling into life in Dublin.<\/p>\n

Majella O\u2019Donnell<\/a> also sits down with Patrick for an open and heartfelt conversation about her mental health journey. She will speak candidly about the 10-week hospital stay that followed her struggle with depression and the overwhelming support she has received since sharing her story publicly.<\/p>\n

Also on the show on Friday, Hothouse Flowers celebrate 40 years in music. The band will share memories from four decades on the road and treat audiences to not one, not two but three special performances.<\/p>\n
