The massively successful Twitch streamer talked about the moment he found out about his nomination for \u201cVictory Lap,\u201d the first time he heard Sabrina Carpenter ( \u201cfire!\u201d), and who he was looking forward to seeing the most last Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s a blessing. It\u2019s an honor,\u201d said the artist when discussing his Grammy nod. \u201cI was live on stream at my house in Los Angeles, and I was jumping around. I was just excited,\u201d he recalled when discussing where he found out. \u201cThis is my first time going to the Grammys. I have not been to the Grammys before.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe artist added that he wanted to meet Pharrell, likening the Grammy winner\u2019s journey in the music and fashion industry to his own \u201cvery unique\u201d career. \u201cI look at someone like him, and I think it\u2019s very inspiring. So, I want to maybe pick his brain if I have the opportunity to,\u201d said PlaqueBoyMax.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tHe also joked how an \u201cUber driver tried gatekeeping Sabrina Carpenter.\u201d Although he didn\u2019t go into detail about the experience or what song he heard on the ride, PlaqueBoyMax said, \u201cIt was the first time I\u2019m like, \u2018Nah, this is fire,\u2019 because I just heard it. I didn\u2019t even know it was her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tPlaqueBoyMax said he was looking forward to seeing Katseye, Leon Thomas, and Carpenter performing. \u201cI am excited to see them, because I want to see \u2026 OK, now this is what it looks like, this is what it takes, this is how they do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tWhen discussing \u201cVictory Lap,\u201d PlaqueBoyMax said he did a stream with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/fred-again\/\" id=\"auto-tag_fred-again\" data-tag=\"fred-again\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fred Again<\/a>, who made three beats during the stream, with one of them being plucked for the track. He said he did a stream with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/skepta\/\" id=\"auto-tag_skepta\" data-tag=\"skepta\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Skepta<\/a> soon after, and then they all got on the phone to collaborate. \u201cWhen Fred was making the beat, I had a feeling like \u2026 something special. It felt like a moment,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s crazy. It\u2019s surreal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBefore heading to the Grammys that night, PlaqueBoyMax hinted at what fans can expect from him next year. \u201cI really want to take it there, give it my all. I really want to dedicate myself to the craft,\u201d he said. \u201cI mean, not only streaming, I\u2019ve been doing streaming a while, but I really just started diving into music last year.
