In a game littered with poor individual performances, it was two of Martin O\u2019Neill\u2019s<\/a> substitutes who made the difference in Sebastian Tounekti<\/a> and winter addition Junior Adamu.<\/a><\/p>\n And in a season of twists and turns, this was a game that took an almighty twist in the dying embers.<\/p>\n We examined the Celts\u2019 individual performances on the night\u2026<\/p>\n How on earth do you begin to describe that\u2026! <\/p>\n Celtic player ratings vs DundeeVijlami Sinisalo \u2013 4<\/p>\n There wasn\u2019t a great deal that Vijlami Sinisalo<\/a> could do about Ethan Hamilton\u2019s stunning strike, but those are the moments that decide your fate as a Celtic goalkeeper.<\/p>\n He also had several moments of untidy goalkeeping in an unconvincing performance overall.<\/p>\n Julian Araujo \u2013 6<\/p>\n Araujo<\/a> rarely looks flustered on the ball, and in his defence, struggled without the presence of Yang Hyun-Jun<\/a> on his side, as he has had in most of his Celtic career so far.<\/p>\n But he was guilty of conceding dangerous free-kicks. in the second period, compounding his lack of attacking presence.<\/p>\n He was one of several Celts who notably upped the ante in extra-time, upping his rating.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain namechecks Shaun Maloney in claim Celtic are \u2018exactly\u2019 what he needs<\/a><\/p>\n A feature of Trusty\u2019s<\/a> play as a right-sided centre-back have been his switches of play, which were non-existent tonight.<\/p>\n His performance was more defined by headed clearances and a few daft fouls.<\/p>\n Liam Scales \u2013 3<\/p>\n Scales<\/a> didn\u2019t cover himself in glory for Dundee\u2019s goal, and this wasn\u2019t his only shaky moment of the game.<\/p>\n He was one of many guilty of loose passes in-possession too. A poor display from a player who has set higher standards this season.<\/p>\n Kieran Tierney \u2013 7<\/p>\n Despite being a left-back, Tierney<\/a> was Celtic\u2019s best starting winger tonight.<\/p>\n It was often he who delivered half-decent service into the box, and he covered a fair bit of ground both overlapping and helping Scales out defensively.<\/p>\n To sour matters, he sustained a late concussion, making him a doubt for upcoming fixtures<\/p>\n Callum McGregor \u2013 6<\/p>\n As is often the case, a vast majority of Celtic\u2019s play came through McGregor,<\/a> and he didn\u2019t do anything notably badly.<\/p>\n But in a performance lacking in attacking spark and intensity, the Hoops captain did little to inject either of those things into Celtic\u2019s attacks.<\/p>\n Reo Hatate \u2013 6<\/p>\n On an important opportunity to start, Hatate<\/a> didn\u2019t put in his worst display of the season, but you can\u2019t help but feel that a peak Reo would\u2019ve made the difference in a game like this.<\/p>\n There were also a few moments when he passed up on the opportunity to play forward, but he was far from the only player guilty of that on the night.<\/p>\n Paulo Bernardo \u2013 3<\/p>\n Bernardo\u2019s<\/a> Celtic career is in a hole at the minute. Despite the club rejecting loan approaches for him last month, his performances simply haven\u2019t been enough to merit more starts.<\/p>\n He was simply anonymous before being hooked at half-time \u2013 and not for the first time this season.<\/p>\n Did Paulo Bernardo kill off his Celtic career against Dundee? <\/p>\n He gets some marks for his positivity, but Joel Mvuka\u2019s<\/a> didn\u2019t look like the winger that Celtic have been needing on his debut.<\/p>\n There\u2019s plenty of time ahead for him to find his feet, but the fact that he was substituted at half-time tells you everything.<\/p>\n Tomas Cvancara \u2013 6<\/p>\n Celtic\u2019s new striker was feeding scraps for much of tonight.
