It\u2019s not quite that this weekend but it\u2019s still a huge game.<\/p>\n It reminds me of Liverpool and Chelsea when they were meeting in those Champions League games. City going to Anfield has become that kind of game \u2013 it\u2019s a must-watch even if they\u2019re not the top two.<\/p>\n Liverpool are coming into this having made a statement with their 4-1 win over Newcastle last Saturday night.\u00a0 Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike looked a powerful combination there.\u00a0<\/p>\n Florian Wirtz to have 2+ shots<\/p>\n Wirtz is playing with confidence now and looks like the player we expected. The price tag weighed over him earlier in the season \u2013 if he hadn\u2019t cost \u00a3100m I think people would\u2019ve said what a unbelievable player Liverpool have signed, but the fact he cost so much meant he was expected to score and assist from the start.<\/p>\n There\u2019s no doubt that he did struggle a bit earlier in the season,\u00a0but now he\u2019s really coming into his own in a Liverpool shirt. Before the Newcastle game he had at least two shots in each of his last five games, so I\u2019d expect him to hit that mark again on Sunday.<\/p>\n Hugo Ekitike to have 1+ shots on target<\/p>\n I saw Steven Gerrard comparing Hugo Ekitike to Fernando Torres \u2013 I played with him too and the second goal against Newcastle where he slowed everything down and then put on the gas and finished it was the sign of a top level striker in action.<\/p>\n He\u2019s been a revelation.<\/p>\n He has 15 goals this season now and I\u2019d expect him to another on Sunday, so a shot on target at least for him is an easy selection for a Bet Builder.<\/p>\n Liverpool to win<\/p>\n City also beat Newcastle during the week in the Carabao Cup. They\u2019re through to the final, and will take a lot from the way Antoine Semenyo has hit the ground running. Rayyan Cherki is a cracking player, Erling Haaland\u2019s the best striker in the league, so he\u2019s joined a team packed full of quality and we know they are more than capable of going to Anfield and getting a result on their day.<\/p>\n Inconsistency has cost them in the league this year though. They don\u2019t have that feeling of invincibility that they\u2019ve had in previous seasons. <\/p>\n Marc Guehi is a great signing but Liverpool can cause their defence a lot of problems. Rodri is back, which should help, but there was a time when he felt like he was everywhere, whether it be defensively making a tackle, attacking and getting goals and assists or just running games. He\u2019s not quite at that level yet.\u00a0<\/p>\n And with Liverpool at home on Sunday, I fancy them to carry-on where they left off against Newcastle. I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if it finished 3-1 in the end.<\/p>\n Erling Haaland to have 1+ shots on target <\/p>\n So I expect City to score.
