Lotto players are being urged to check their tickets after one lucky punter scooped a life-changing six-figure prize in Saturday night’s draw<\/a>.<\/p>\n Despite the main Lotto<\/a> jackpot going unclaimed, Saturday’s draw wasn’t a total loss with over 99,000 winners across the draws.<\/p>\n Among them was one main draw player who came agonisingly close to scooping the jackpot worth an eye-watering \u20ac8,879,233, matching five of the six winning numbers plus the bonus.<\/p>\n While the player may have missed out on the jaw-dropping sum, they still have plenty of reason to celebrate as they bagged the Match 5 + Bonus prize worth \u20ac195,118.<\/p>\n The winning numbers in the Saturday, February 7 draw were: 04, 05, 19, 21, 32, 35 and the bonus was 39.<\/p>\n The National Lottery<\/a> has now confirmed that the lucky Lotto winner purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on Wednesday, February 4, at Centra Burrin Road at Unit 2 Lissard House on the Burrin Road in Co Carlow<\/a>.<\/p>\n Lotto bosses are advising all of their players who may have purchased their tickets at the Centra Burrin Road store to carefully check their tickets as one player now has a prize worth \u20ac195,118 waiting to be collected.<\/p>\n National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr has the following advice for the winner: \u201cWhile over 99,000 players nationwide won prizes in Saturday\u2019s Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, just one player in Carlow now has a ticket worth an incredible \u20ac195,118.<\/p>\n “We are urging all of our players, particularly those in Carlow, to carefully check their tickets today. The Match 5 + Bonus winner should sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe.<\/p>\n “They should contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize at Lottery Headquarters.”<\/p>\n Meanwhile, as there was no winner of the \u20ac8.8 million jackpot on offer in last night\u2019s Lotto draw, Wednesday\u2019s jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated \u20ac9.2 million.<\/p>\n Players dreaming of midweek celebrations are reminded that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie<\/a> ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for sales on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n
