I get the whole occasion of playing here, it’s great for the league, but definitely.”

A share of the spoils was a fair result although Bohs did have the only opportunities in the game, as Anang denied both Ross Tierney and Connor Parsons either side of half time.

“We shaded possession but there wasn’t much goalmouth action there for both sets of fans to get excited about. We had two really, really good chances, another half chance, I’m not sure if they had any chances.

“Was it the best game? Probably not, but still disappointed we didn’t come out winners with the chances.”

<img decoding="async" alt="8 February 2026; Bohemians manager Alan Reynolds during the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division match between Bohemians and St Patrick's Athletic at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. He is a top-class goalkeeper.

“It says about us that we’re the team that really worked the goalkeeper more. I think he got Man of the Match so that says it all, doesn’t it?”

For opposite number Stephen Kenny, it was a case of having to settle for a point after such a disappointing end to 2025.

The Saints missed out on European soccer with a fifth placed finish, and Kenny admitted afterwards that they hadn’t deserved more from the trip to Dublin 4.

“We probably didn’t deserve any more than a point, I think,” he told RTÉ Sport afterwards.

“I felt my players really gave everything, it was a brilliant effort from the players. It was important to keep a clean sheet.

“We probably didn’t, in the final third, create enough.”

On the potential to lose his goalkeeper during the World Cup, after such an impressive performance, Kenny added: “We’d be delighted for him if he gets a chance to play in the World Cup.

“We have Danny Rodgers here, who’s a very good goalkeeper, so it’s a squad effort.”

Alan Reynolds says that he would prefer if all Bohemians games were played at Dalymount Park after their…

[9
61,60,112
0":"post-287882","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-sports","8":"tag-ie","9":"tag-ireland","10":"tag-sports
["GET
