A man in his 70s has died after a single-car crash in Co Tipperary.<\/p>\n
The man was the sole occupant of the vehicle, which crashed on the R660 at Holycross at around 2.15pm.<\/p>\n
He was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
His body was removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick (UHL), where a post-mortem examination will be conducted.<\/p>\n
The local coroner has also been notified.<\/p>\n
A technical examination of the scene has been carried out by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the road has since fully reopened.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.<\/p>\n
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam and were travelling on the R660 at Holycross around the time of the collision are asked to make this footage available to investigating garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n

In a separate incident in Co Tipperary, five people were injured in a single-vehicle crash involving an SUV.<\/p>\n
The crash happened at Toem near Cappawhite at 6.15am this morning.<\/p>\n
Three men, aged in their 30s, and two women, aged in their 20s, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
They were taken to UHL for treatment.<\/p>\n
