\n\tDemi Lovato<\/a> has canceled five shows and pushed back the start of her upcoming tour in support of It\u2019s Not That Deep<\/a> after realizing she \u201coverextended what may be possible\u201d when it came to her 23-show tour.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tIt will now kick off in Orlando on April 13. Previously planned stops in Nashville, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Denver, and Charlotte, North Carolina have been canceled.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMy Lovatics \u2014\u00a0I am so excited to get back on stage this year and visit you in as many cities as I can,\u201d Lovato wrote on Instagram on Tuesday morning. \u201cWhile starting to prepare for the tour, I realized that I have overextended what may be possible. To protect my health, and ensure I can give you my all at each show, I need to build in more time to rest and rehearse and ultimately adjust to a schedule with some more time off that will allow me to handle the entire run of the tour.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAddressing fans in the cities that have been removed from the tour, Lovato added, \u201cI am so sad to say that I will no longer be able to see you on this tour and I am so sorry to those who planned to be there.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThose who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster and AXS will be issued refunds automatically, while those who bought tickets on a third-party reseller website, like StubHub, SeatGeek or VividSeats, will need to contact the vendor to request a refund.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tLovato announced the It\u2019s Not That Deep tour back in October, to accompany her ninth studio album, which Lovato has described as a return to her electronic-pop roots. Accompanying her on the road will be Ad\u00e9la<\/a>, whom Lovato called \u201can absolute star that is going to blow your mind.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
