Thankfully, today’s rumors sounds pretty positive. Despite some not-so-great rumors surrounding this year’s pricing, it seems like Samsung could still provide its usual storage upgrades for early adopters at launch — component shortage be damned.

As spotted by the folks at WinFuture, Samsung’s German teaser site for this year’s Unpacked includes the promise of “a storage upgrade worth up to €200” when pre-ordering the Galaxy S26. The company’s UK website makes the same promise, along with an even clearer footnote: anyone pre-ordering will score a 512GB model for the price of the 256GB variant. And without a specific lineup of models mentioned, it appears as though this benefit extends to the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra.

Now, of course, here in the US, our teaser site isn’t quite so detailed. While you can currently follow through on Samsung’s reservation process — complete with a $30 credit and “up to” $900 in additional savings — the US site lacks the same amount of details as those various EU-centric URLs. That doesn’t necessarily mean North American shoppers will lack the ability to get a free storage upgrade when pre-ordering, but it does mean we’ll have to wait until February 25th to find out exactly what options Samsung has available at checkout.

Samsung’s German Unpacked site includes another tidbit of information as well: an expiration date for this pre-order promotion. These offers appear to kick off on February 25th following the unveiling of the S26 series and run through March 10th. That hints at a Wednesday, March 11th date for general in-store availability, exactly two weeks after Unpacked. Obvious launch date as that may be, it’s great to know would-be S26 owners will have their devices in just about a month.

More on Samsung:

FTC: We use income earning auto affiliate links. More.

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 launch is officially set for February 25th, but that still leaves us with two weeks…

[16
61,60,202,80
0":"post-292646","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-mobile","8":"tag-ie","9":"tag-ireland","10":"tag-mobile","11":"tag-technology
["GET
