{"id":292741,"date":"2026-02-11T17:44:09","date_gmt":"2026-02-11T17:44:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/292741\/"},"modified":"2026-02-11T17:44:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-11T17:44:09","slug":"construction-begins-on-e120m-housing-development-in-limerick-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/292741\/","title":{"rendered":"Construction begins on \u20ac120m housing development in Limerick city"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CONSTRUCTION has commenced on the largest residential <a href=\"https:\/\/www.limerickleader.ie\/section\/230\/community\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">development<\/a> in Limerick city in 20 years, the Leader can reveal.<br \/>The Ardhu on Roses Avenue \/ North Circular Road is being developed by London-based Tribeca Holdings which is owned by Limerick man Aidan Brooks.<br \/>The \u20ac120m project will deliver 230 apartments in what is expected to be Limerick\u2019s most exclusive housing development to date.<br \/>Galway contractor Monami started construction work in the last week. It is expected to take two years to complete, however, the former Ardhu Bar will reopen to the public before the summer of this year.<br \/>The development, designed by Dublin Architects Henry J Lyons, is arranged over five new buildings across six acres and range in height from three to five storeys.<\/p>\n<p> READ MORE:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.limerickleader.ie\/news\/athletics\/2011218\/starting-line-now-in-sight-for-new-athletics-centre-in-limerick.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Starting line now in sight for new athletics centre in Limerick<\/a><br \/>The units will range in size from one, two and three-bed \/ duplex options catering from single occupants to families.<br \/>The 230 new apartments, available for rental only, will offer residents a wide range of amenities located in the former Ardhu House. They include a cafe, cinema, co-working space, gym, spa and swimming pool.
