Country star Lisa McHugh revealed today that she had been hospitalised and diagnosed with sepsis<\/a>, a potentially very dangerous illness if it is not caught on time – but what are the signs and symptoms of this serious health issue?<\/p>\n The singer was due to perform tonight with Nathan Carter<\/a> at Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny \u2013 which would have been her first show since she was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder last year.<\/a><\/p>\n However, taking to social media, the mum of two <\/a>revealed she had been hospitalised with the illness, but assured fans she was doing well.<\/p>\n Posting on Facebook and Instagram she wrote: “Hi everyone, I\u2019m so sorry to say that I won\u2019t be able to perform tonight with @iamnathancarter at the @clanree_hotel, Letterkenny.<\/p>\n “I was admitted into hospital a couple of days ago with sepsis, but I want to reassure everyone, that, I\u2019m in the right place and receiving the best care and treatment to help get things under control. I just need to take a little bit of time to rest and recover, but I will be absolutely fine<\/p>\n I\u2019m so disappointed to miss out on what was meant to be my first live show back, but, I\u2019m sure you\u2019ll all have a fantastic night with Nathan as always!
