Forbes has named Ashford Castle the only UK and Ireland hotel to receive a double five-star ranking.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re in seventh heaven but will never take a top Forbes ranking for granted,\u201d said Ashford Castle\u2019s Managing Director, Niall Rochford, on hearing the news that Ashford Castle has retained its\u00a0Forbes Travel Guide\u00a0Five-Star\u00a0ranking for a seventh successive year.\u00a0 Mr Rochford added that the whole team was overjoyed to learn that Ashford Castle is now the only property in the UK and Ireland to hold a five-star Forbes rating for both its hotel and spa.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

The annual Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards (FTG) rates the world\u2019s most luxurious properties and is regarded as the only truly independent global rating system.<\/a><\/p>\n

A\u00a0Forbes Travel Guide\u00a0Five-Star ranking\u00a0is the top rating possible and the gold standard in global hospitality. While all elements of a property are evaluated, there is a huge emphasis on service because, according to Forbes,\u00a0how a hotel makes you feel is what you will remember most.\u2019<\/p>\n

In 2020 Ashford Castle became Ireland\u2019s first hotel to achieve a Five-Star ranking in the annual honours list. This was followed in 2023 by\u00a0another first when T<\/a>he Spa at Ashford Castle received Ireland\u2019s first\u00a0 \u2013 and remains Ireland\u2019s only\u00a0 \u2013 hotel spa to hold a Five-Star FTG ranking. \u00a0Forbes described The Spaas a \u2018modern oasis designed to pamper you like royalty.\u00a0 The Spa at Ashford Castle is the only spa in Ireland to offer the world-renowned Augustinus Bader spa treatments to guests.<\/p>\n
