Lykke Li<\/a>\u2019s final album is coming this spring. The Afterparty lands on Neon Gold Records<\/a>\/Futures<\/a> on May 8, and a Max Richter<\/a>-sampling lead single, \u201cLucky Again\u201d is out now. You can listen to that, and peruse a full tracklist, below.<\/p>\n

The Swedish singer\u2019s new record marks her first LP since 2022\u2019s EYEEYE<\/a>. She recorded The Afterparty in Stockholm with a 17-piece orchestra and what she describes, in a press statement, as \u201capocalyptic bongos.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI find that we\u2019re in an era where everyone is talking about, \u2018My higher self.\u2019 Fuck that,\u201d Li added. \u201cThis is an album dealing with your lower self: your need for revenge, your shame, despair, all of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

To support the record, Li has lined up a series of live performances, including a London show with Wolf Alice<\/a> and a Mexico City show with Robyn<\/a>. She\u2019ll also perform at both weekends of Coachella this April. Check out her full itinerary below.<\/p>\n
