Design and hardware<\/p>\n

The Realme P4 Power features a familiar design, akin to Realme’s releases in the past few years. It’s also in line with the rest of the P4 family members. It has a transparent area around the blocky camera island and slightly curved back edges that help with the grip.<\/p>\n

Build quality isn’t the best, but that’s probably one of the trade-offs Realme had to make to fit a 10,001 mAh battery in the budget. The front glass is Gorilla Glass 7i, while the back and side frame are plastic. The back cover does feel nice in the hand, with a silky-smooth matte finish, but it’s not fooling anyone.<\/p>\n

Plastic may have helped Realme to keep the weight as low as possible. The device tips the scales at 219 grams, which is admittedly a tad hefty, but still impressive given the battery capacity. Thickness measures at 9.1mm – miles ahead of other 10,000 mAh smartphones in the past.<\/p>\n

The handset is offered in three colorways – Flash Orange, Power Silver and Blue. We have the Power Silver variant with us.<\/p>\n

Front panel is curved around all edges, giving it a 3D pop effect. An optical fingerprint reader sits beneath the display.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, it’s located way too close to the bottom edge, so it’s a bit awkward to reach with your thumb. Otherwise, the FP reader works well – fast and reliable.<\/p>\n

Going around the sides, we find the conveniently-placed power button and volume rocker on the right side of the frame, while the bottom houses a SIM card tray that can hold up to two physical SIM cards. eSIM isn’t supported, though. The top holds an IR blaster.<\/p>\n
