A woman in her 30s has died following a three-car collision on the N24 near Grange West, Boher, Co Limerick.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed and emergency services attended the scene of the collision, which occurred at approximately 11:10pm on Friday.<\/p>\n
The sole occupant of a car, a woman in her 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n
Her body has been conveyed to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick, where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course. The coroner has been notified.<\/p>\n
The sole occupant of another car, a man in his 40s, was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening at this time.<\/p>\n
Investigating garda\u00ed are seeking to identify the driver of the third car. That driver fled, leaving the vehicle they were driving at the scene.<\/p>\n
The N24 between R505 and L1132 remains closed pending technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.<\/p>\n
Local diversions are in place.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.<\/p>\n
Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N24 near Grange West, Boher, Co Limerick between 10:45pm and 11:30pm on Friday, February 13th, are asked to make this footage available to investigating garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n
