Truth be told, I probably could have picked nearly any Type O Negative song and it would have fit in this list perfectly. What can I say? Those dudes wrote a lot about love and fucking. This one, however, is supremely sexy and should set the mood pretty damn well. Yet another band that has a lot of songs about fucking, this Rammstein cut off of 2004\u2019s Reise, Reise is frequently considered being about a lost love. Sung in German, the lyrics are about a person who ventures into a forest where they last saw their love. Without that person in their life, it feels like the birds don\u2019t sing anymore and the woods are dark and empty. Time stands still and they truly feel like they can\u2019t exist without that other person. They say it\u2019s better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all\u2026<\/p>\n
Venamoris \u2014 \u201cSo Good\u201d<\/p>\n
Believe it or not, this song is performed by ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and his wife Paula. And though there\u2019s some thrash metal lineage in this one, don\u2019t expect blast beats and screaming. This love song about finally finding a good lover without all the bullshit attached is sexy as hell. So light some candles, serve some wine, and hit play on this one if you wanna try to get lucky and show how good your love is.<\/p>\n
Ghost \u2014 \u201cMary On The Cross\u201d<\/p>\n
So much has been written about this song that I\u2019ll keep it brief. If you have a special lady friend, make sure you tend to her needs too. Ah, the classic tale of star-crossed lovers unable to enjoy their love as they want to. This track off of The World Needs A Hero is exactly that, as written by Dave Mustaine. Is it a little cheezy? Absolutely. Could you envision this as a pro-LGBTQ+ love song of folks that live in a place where their relationship is forbidden? I like to think so.<\/p>\n
Anthrax \u2014 \u201cSafe Home\u201d<\/p>\n
Your love should feel like a sanctuary. Being around your person should feel effortless. This track off of We\u2019ve Come For You All is a no bullshit love song without any melodrama. In fact, John Bush himself said the track was \u201ca love song quite honestly, written with a positive vibe,\u201d which he admitted was a departure from their usual fare. Oh and the music video has Keanu Reeves in it, which is rad.<\/p>\n
Iced Earth \u2014 \u201cDracula\u201d<\/p>\n
What\u2019s more metal than your devotion to someone being so strong that you\u2019d curse God and become the vampire after learning your loved one was killed by the church even though you just got back from fighting a holy war? Yes, this band is tainted thanks to Jon Schaffer being a traitorous bastard, but you can\u2019t deny those opening bars of vocalist Matt Barlow\u2019s dulcet tones get the juices flowing.<\/p>\n
Mot\u00f6rhead \u2014 \u201cLove Me Forever\u201d<\/p>\n
Some love lasts forever. Most love doesn\u2019t. Who knew Lemmy could write a power ballad about love, heartbreak, and vulnerability in the face of the temporary nature of relationships?<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not gonna mince words here. This song\u2019s about fuckin\u2019. It\u2019s a cheesy 80s tune about fuckin\u2019, but it\u2019s all about fuckin\u2019 nonetheless.
