Republic of Ireland attacker Troy Parrott continued his brilliant goalscoring campaign with AZ Alkmaar on Saturday, netting an injury-time leveller against Excelsior before AZ went on to win it 2-1 in the 96th minute.<\/p>\n

Ilias Bronkhorst fired Parrott’s former club Excelsior ahead just before the break, and it looked like that strike would settle this Eredivisie contest at Stadion Woudestein.<\/p>\n

However Parrott equalised with a deflected shot in the 92nd minute, and Alexandre Penetra completed a stunning turnaround with a well-placed header four minutes later. The victory moved AZ Alkmaar up to sixth in the table.<\/p>\n

Harry Kane scored his 500th career goal as Bayern Munich cruised to a 3-0 Bundesliga victory at Werder Bremen.<\/p>\n

The England skipper reached the landmark when he converted a 22nd-minute penalty and then added a second three minutes later \u2013 his 25th and 26th in the league this season to edge closer to Robert Lewandowski’s record of 41 \u2013 before Leon Goretzka wrapped up the points.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid climbed to the top of LaLiga with a comprehensive 4-1 win over Real Sociedad.<\/p>\n

Vinicius Junior scored two penalties while Gonzalo Garc\u00eda and Federico Valverde were also on target, with Mikel Oyarzabal replying with a spot-kick to send Madrid two points clear of Barcelona, who play at Girona on Monday night.<\/p>\n
