The return of The Night Agent, a Marian Keyes adaptation and a Sherlock<\/a> replacement\u2026 buckle up for best week for TV we\u2019ve had in a long time! If you\u2019re as tuned in as we are, you might have noticed that the schedules have been a little lacklustre lately, but it seems the tide is finally turning as this week is bringing with it some absolute corkers \u2013 and they\u2019re all available to watch on ITV, Netflix, the BBC and more. <\/p>\n

For starters, the first two series of Paramount+\u2019s megahit, Yellowjackets<\/a> (it\u2019s earned a whopping 10 Emmy nominations to date), have just dropped on ITVX, and series 2 of the best series since Sherlock (hello Watson) is making its UK premiere. FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) is also returning to duty and Jennifer Garner is reuniting with that MIA husband in The Last Thing He Told Me series 2. So, make yourself at home, because these are the 7 excellent shows to watch this week. <\/p>\n

It’s been eight long years since hit BBC detective drama Sherlock wrapped up and we finally have a contender for its throne. Watson, which focuses on the adventures of Sherlock Holmes\u2019 sidekick Dr John Watson, is the charming series that features all the elements that made Sherlock such a blockbuster – from baffling mysteries to captivating performances – but with a Doc Martin<\/a>-esque twist. Rather than fighting crime, Dr Watson, played by Morris Chestnut, harnesses his sleuthing skills to crack complex medical cases as he works full-time as a leading doctor. Series 2 has just landed on Sky and NOW, but if you\u2019re new to the series, the first instalment is available to binge, too. Series 2 is arriving on Sky Witness<\/a> and NOW on Sunday 15th February. <\/p>\n

Yellowjackets\"(l<\/p>\n

This Paramount+ drama earned 10 Emmy nominations across its first two series and they\u2019re now available to binge on ITVX. Part-psychological thriller, part-survival epic, the series follows a champion New Jersey football team, AKA the Yellowjackets, whose plane crashes in the Canadian wilderness on its way to a national tournament. The year is 1996. Split into two timelines, we see the girls stranded as teens, trying to survive in the wilderness (there\u2019s hunting and butchery involved), as well as the survivors in the present day, having rebuilt their lives and tried to move on from the trauma of their past. Compelling in every sense. Series 1 and 2 are arriving on ITVX<\/a> on Sunday 15th February.

Curfew \"curfew\"<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re tired of the usual crime drama<\/a> format (grisly crime meets troubled detective), you\u2019ll enjoy Curfew. The paranoia-filled series is set in a society where men have a strict curfew, but when a woman is killed during curfew hours, police officer Pamela Green (played by Sarah Parish) is determined to prove that a man committed the crime \u2013 despite the fact that a man couldn\u2019t possibly have been walking the streets when she was killed. Or could he? Arriving on Channel 5 on Monday 16th February. <\/p>\n

The Night Agent\"the<\/p>\n

There are few things we love more at Good Housekeeping than a really brilliant spy thriller<\/a> and The Night Agent is up there with the best of them. You may remember that the first series followed Gabriel Basso as low-level FBI agent Peter Sutherland, who discovered conspirators inside the US government while working in The White House one night. He also then had the small task of saving the President on his hands. Series 2 saw Peter return as a fully-fledged member of the secretive organisation Night Action where danger was quite literally everywhere. As for round three? He\u2019s got even more on his plate, with a new partner and a new mission that takes him across the globe. Series 3 is arriving on Netflix<\/a> on Thursday 19th February. <\/p>\n

The Last Thing He Told Me\"the<\/p>\n

Based on Laura Dave\u2019s bestselling (and seriously addictive) novel of the same name, the first series of this mystery thriller starred Jennifer Garner as the stepmother whose husband, Owen, vanished – leaving her with 16-year-old Bailey (Angourie Wife), an ominous note and a trail of danger. After five years on the run, Owen has returned and they find themselves in a race to figure out how to reunite their family before the past catches up to them. Expect another pulse-pounding watch. Series 2 is arriving on Apple TV+ on Friday 20th February. <\/p>\n

Channel 4\u2019s Walter Presents has quite the knack for picking up excellent crime thrillers and Crusade is a case in point. The series revolves around detective Jan G\u00f3ra (otherwise known as Manjaro), who\u2019s quite the confident bachelor. But when his Warsaw crime unit is faced with a series of high\u2011profile murders and kidnappings, his world shifts and he and his team find themselves uncovering a coordinated conspiracy. The question is, who can he now trust? Gritty, pacy and brilliant twisted. Arriving on Channel 4 Streaming on Friday 20th February. <\/p>\n

The Walsh Sisters\"group<\/p>\n

Two of Marian Keyes\u2019 novels, Rachel\u2019s Holiday and Anybody Out There, are coming to life in the BBC\u2019s latest page-to-screen adaptation. The drama introduces us to a group of five loveable but chaotic sisters living in Dublin – Anna (Louisa Harland), Rachel (Caroline Menton), Maggie (Stefanie Preissner), Claire (Danielle Galligan) and Helen (M\u00e1ir\u00e9ad Tyers) \u2013 as they navigate the peaks and troughs of their late 20s and 30s. It’s a sisterhood full of in-jokes, hand-me-down resentments and more than a few old wounds. But their DNA, history and shared love of power ballads keep the Walsh sisters together in the face of heartbreak, grief, addiction and parenthood. A series everyone will be able to relate to. Arriving on BBC One and BBC iPlayer<\/a> on Saturday 21st February. <\/p>\n
