A teenager sustained serious injuries after a shooting in Ballymun on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are appealing for witnesses following the incident, which occurred at around 12:35pm.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed and emergency services responded to reports of a shooting incident at St Margaret\u2019s Park.<\/p>\n
In a statement, garda\u00ed said: “An adult male, aged in his late teens, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries during the incident and was transported by ambulance to hospital.<\/p>\n
“The scene has been preserved for forensic examination.<\/p>\n
“A Senior Investigating Officer has been appointed and an incident room established at Ballymun Garda Station.<\/p>\n
“Garda\u00ed are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.<\/p>\n
“Anyone who may have camera footage (including dash-am) and was in the area of St Margaret\u2019s Park between 11:30am and 1:30pm is asked to make this material available to investigating garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Ballymun Garda Station on 01 666 4400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.<\/p>\n
