A Donegal man charmed viewers with his good humour after appearing on ITV\u2019s tricky gameshow, The 1% Club.<\/p>\n
Stephen McClintock from Raphoe, who is now based in London, was one of the 100 hopeful contestants put to the test on a Valentine\u2019s Day special.<\/p>\n
Stephen was still smiling when he was left in the blue after falling at the first hurdle.<\/p>\n
Admitting that he\u00a0panicked at the question, he joked: \u201cI\u2019m never going to be able to go home again!\u201d<\/p>\n
The Valentine\u2019s episode featured competitive duos and ambitious singles.<\/p>\n
Stephen, who sat in the singles row, pointed out a handy perk to being solo on Valentine\u2019s.<\/p>\n
He told presenter Lee Mack: \u201cI prefer the day after, the 15th \u2013 it\u2019s yellow sticker day and everything\u2019s half price. I go out and treat myself.\u201d<\/p>\n
Once the pressure was off, Stephen was delighted to sit back and relax for the rest of the show.<\/p>\n
Win or lose, he was a good sport from start to finish!<\/p>\n
