<\/a><\/p>\nSpinnin\u2019 the Decades will air from Saturday 7th March, bringing Stephanie\u2019s Spinnin\u2019 format from Greatest Hits Radio 60s to a wider audience.<\/p>\n
The programme will feature hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s, with a dedicated hour for live listener requests played from original 45 pressings taken from Stephanie\u2019s personal vinyl collection in real time. She will also share rarities and lesser-known tracks alongside established hits from the three decades.<\/p>\n
The launch follows confirmation that America\u2019s Greatest Hits with Paul Gambaccini will end on Saturday 28th February. Stephanie said: \u201cWhat an incredible honour it is to follow in the footsteps of one of my broadcasting heroes, Paul Gambaccini. I\u2019m going to do my very best to produce a show that Paul \u2013 and more importantly his music-loving America\u2019s Greatest Hits audience \u2013 will love.\u201d<\/p>\n
She added: \u201cI also can\u2019t wait to share my passion for vinyl with listeners to Greatest Hits Radio.\u201d<\/p>\n
Paul Gambaccini said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted to learn that Stephanie will be taking over my time slot on Greatest Hits Radio. She\u2019s a great radio professional and a good friend, so wish her all the best and I look forward to listening.\u201d<\/p>\n
Spinnin\u2019 The Decades with Stephanie Hirst will be on Greatest Hits Radio from 4-7pm every Saturday 7th of March as well as on the Rayo App.<\/p>\n
