{"id":305589,"date":"2026-02-19T06:01:15","date_gmt":"2026-02-19T06:01:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/305589\/"},"modified":"2026-02-19T06:01:15","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T06:01:15","slug":"mac-miller-shines-on-new-posthumous-thundercat-collab-she-knows-too-much-listen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/305589\/","title":{"rendered":"Mac Miller Shines On New Posthumous Thundercat Collab &#8220;She Knows Too Much&#8221;: Listen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/mac-miller\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Mac Miller<\/a> fans have been blessed with a never-before-heard performance from the late musician, courtesy of <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/thundercat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Thundercat<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Brainfeeder bass player has released a new single called \u201cShe Knows Too Much,\u201d which features smooth vocals and a slick guest verse from Mac.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by Grammy-winning hitmaker Greg Kurstin, the funky, upbeat track reunites the close friends and collaborators for an ode to falling in love with a woman only to realize she\u2019s a no-good gold digger.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou got trouble payin\u2019 rent now \/ Live in an apartment, I can take you to the penthouse \/ Got a step child, gone like exile \/ Make me say, \u2018Woo!\u2019 every time you pull your breasts out \/ I\u2019m feelin\u2019 left out \/ When you\u2019re stressed out \/ I know you say it\u2019s true love, but why you always hit me when the check bounce?\u201d Mac spits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe Knows Too Much\u201d is accompanied by a trippy music video directed by L\u00e9a Esmaili, which brings the song to life through various animated formats.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m grateful to have spent my time on this planet with Mac,\u201d Thundercat said of the track in a press release. \u201cWhat an artist, what a spirit, what a joy to have experienced.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/thundercatmusic\/reel\/DU3o80GElQP\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">a heartfelt Instagram post<\/a>: \u201cWhat can I say about Mac Miller that hasn\u2019t been said, shared &amp; explored with you all. I always considered Mac a \u2018one man rat pack.\u2019 Smooth like Frank, cool like Sammy, suave like Dean.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wish that you all could have been there with us the moment this song was created in his garage. Between [Mac Miller], [Taylor Graves], [Josh Berg] &amp; I we all knew it was something special.
