The 19th series of ITV’s long-running talent series Britain’s Got Talent is returning to screens this weekend.<\/p>\n

Britain’s Got Talent teaser: KSI shakes hands with Simon Cowell<\/p>\n

The wait is almost over as ITV<\/a> viewers will see Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and KSI return to screens for a brand new series of Britain’s Got Talent.<\/a><\/p>\n

On Saturday (February 21), the 19th series of the long-running show begins<\/a> as a new batch of hopeful performers take to the stage.<\/p>\n

With the chance to win an eye-watering \u00a3250,000 prize, along with a spot at the prestigious Royal Variety Performance, all people need to do is secure a yes from three of the judges.<\/p>\n

However, they could get the chance to sail straight through to the semi-finals if they manage to get a golden buzzer from either the judges or presenters Ant and Dec.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the series kicking off, Amanda shared her thoughts on the latest addition to the show, KSI.<\/p>\n

KSI officially joined the judging panel this year, following guest appearances in 2025. He replaced Bruno Tonioli, who decided to bow out due to scheduling conflicts.<\/p>\n

When asked what the YouTube sensation brings to the line-up, Amanda said: “He is super cool, really personable. To be honest with you, I feel like I’ve known him for ages.<\/p>\n

The ITV star had nothing but praise when speaking about KSI joining the show<\/p>\n

“I feel quite protective over him, I don’t know why, a tiny bit mother-y. I think what he brings is that he cuts to the chase, so there’s no waffling. He sort of says exactly what he thinks, which is quick and succinct.”<\/p>\n

During the YouTube clip, which was shared on Instagram, Amanda confessed she’s never seen anyone aside from herself as keen to participate with the acts on-stage.<\/p>\n

However, during her chat about KSI, Amanda couldn’t help but take a cheeky jibe at his music career.<\/p>\n

When asked if she was a big fan of his music, she pulled a face and smirked, clearly not wanting to answer.<\/p>\n

As the video added the sound effects of crickets, the ITV<\/a> judge added: “I have to say, I loved his last single. I did love his last single.”<\/p>\n
