EastEnders\u2019 Johnny Carter is left with an impossible dilemma next week \u2013 after his dodgy investor mate Tim Walton<\/a> tries to blackmail him into bed. Tim issues his indecent proposal after threatening to release damning video footage of Callum Highway that could ruin his life, but what could be so bad that Johnny might be tempted to give into Tim\u2019s demands?<\/p>\n

“The honeymoon is most definitely over for Johnny and Callum,” says our EastEnders insider.<\/p>\n

“They thought their biggest test was going public with their relationship<\/a> and overcoming backlash from the Mitchells, but devious Tim has other plans\u2026”<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the week, Tim prepares to test Callum in a bid to prove whether he\u2019s the right man for Johnny.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Callum\u2019s feeling torn over a letter he\u2019s received from his imprisoned husband Ben<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This week, he and Johnny were handed a note by a mystery man, who demanded that Callum gets rid of a USB stick at the address in the letter \u2013 or Ben could be looking at ten more years in prison.<\/p>\n

Linda fears that her son Johnny is about to have his heart broken. However, after Callum delves into the letter with Ben\u2019s mum Kathy, he decides that he\u2019s ready to walk away from Ben<\/a> and leave their relationship in the past.<\/p>\n

Concerned about the contents of the letter, Kathy pleads with Callum to help Ben for Lexi\u2019s sake; however, when he, Kathy, Ian act upon the information and see out a plan, Callum realises that he\u2019s been set up by Tim\u2026<\/a><\/p>\n

Upon their return to Walford, Tim arrives and brandishes incriminating footage of Callum that could upend his whole life \u2013 and blackmails him with it!
<\/p>\n

As Johnny fumes at Callum for following up on Ben\u2019s letter in the first place, their relationship is left in tatters \u2013 prompting Johnny to visit Tim to try to reason with him. However, that\u2019s when opportunistic Tim declares that he\u2019ll only delete the footage if Johnny sleeps with him.<\/p>\n

“Tim has had his eye on Johnny since he first came to Walford,” explains our source. “His motives are a mystery, but there\u2019s a decent chance that he\u2019s orchestrated this whole situation just so that he can get his claws into his business partner.”<\/p>\n

Seemingly out of options, will Johnny be coerced into sleeping with Tim to save Callum from the consequences of the fateful footage? <\/p>\n

EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.<\/p>\n
