Joy Behar<\/a> shared the secret behind her weight loss, revealing that she shed 25 pounds with the help of a GLP-1 medication.<\/p>\n

The topic was brought up on the Wednesday, February 18, episode of The View<\/a>, as a growing list of public figures have turned to Ozempic and Mounjaro to slim down. (Both are FDA-approved injectable medications used once a week to treat adults with type 2 diabetes that have gained traction in Hollywood for their weight-loss benefits.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI did it because I was almost 300 pounds. And I\u2019m looking good now!\u201d Whoopi Goldberg<\/a> said on the latest episode. Guest cohost Savannah Chrisley<\/a> chimed in to share, \u201cI lost 40 pounds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Behar, 83, confessed that she had also tried a GLP-1 medication, adding, \u201cWe all did it!\u201d<\/p>\n

Goldberg, 70, and Behar spoke candidly about their figures after previously defending Kelly Clarkson in March 2024 for turning to a prescription drug amid her own wellness journey.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey kick her behind when she’s bigger, they kick her behind when she’s lost the weight and now they’re kicking her behind because she said it out loud,\u201d Goldberg said in her defense, noting the singer faced criticism either way.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’ve been on diets up and down, up and down. You lose it, then you gain it back,\u201d Behar declared. \u201cNobody wants to be fat except a sumo wrestler. It’s uncomfortable, your clothes don’t fit, everybody wants to lose weight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clarkson, 43, did not specify which medication she started using back in 2024, simply sharing with Goldberg on The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/a> that it \u201caids [her body] in helping break down the sugar.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody thinks it’s Ozempic,\u201d the American Idol season 1 winner said at the time. \u201cIt’s not. It’s something else<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clarkson revealed she noticed a major physical change after following her doctor\u2019s advice, noting that she was initially concerned about trying the prescription considering she already had thyroid problems. The chart-topping performer finally agreed because \u201cmy bloodwork got so bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clarkson said she also incorporated exercise and proper nutrition to look and feel her best, including strolls in New York City, trips to her local infrared saunas and doing cold plunges.<\/p>\n

As for her diet, she said it included \u201ca healthy mix,\u201d adding, \u201cAnd 90 percent of the time I\u2019m really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway. I\u2019m a Texas girl, so I like meat \u2014 sorry, vegetarians in the world!\u201d<\/p>\n

While discussing the subject of weight gain and weight loss, Goldberg suggested not judging others on a March 2024 episode of The View.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy weight has come and gone and up and down, but it\u2019s never been an issue for me because I don\u2019t listen to what other people say about me so it has never been a problem. But I think it\u2019s very hard for people to just know what a normal weight would be,\u201d she shared. \u201cEveryone has something to say but no one said, \u2018How you doing?\u2019 Because it involves so many other things.\u201d<\/p>\n
