Gordon Ramsay has revealed he is paying off a staggering bill for floral arrangements from his daughter\u2019s wedding through a monthly instalment plan. <\/p>\n

The chef explained that his finances are currently tied up in an ambitious restaurant venture at 22 Bishopsgate, where he is opening five new dining establishments.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Heart Breakfast with presenters Jason King and Kelly Brook, the chef joked that the eye-watering floral costs left him emotional during the ceremony at Bath Abbey on December 27.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll be honest, half the tears were the size of the flower bill,\u201d he quipped.<\/p>\n

The lavish displays of white roses and hydrangeas filled the historic abbey, and Mr Ramsay said he counted the cost pew by pew.<\/p>\n

\u201cI swear to God, the aisle was 65 metres long. Every time I walked past a pew I was going, \u20187 grand\u2026 another 7 grand… \u00a365,000 of flowers,” he said.<\/p>\n

However, the celebrity chef emphasised the day itself was unforgettable, as he gave away his eldest daughter, Holly Ramsay to Olympic swimmer, Adam Peaty.<\/p>\n

Describing his father-of-the-bride speech as the highlight of the celebration, Mr Ramsay said: \u201cAll jokes apart, it was an amazing day.”<\/p>\n

The ceremony drew hundreds of well-wishers and significant media attention, with around 400 people gathering outside the abbey where paparazzi appeared to clash with security staff.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the occasion was also overshadowed by a family dispute involving the groom\u2019s relatives.<\/p>\n

Adam Peaty\u2019s parents, Caroline and Mark, did not attend the ceremony, with reports indicating the rift began after Caroline was not included in pre-wedding celebrations.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Daily Mail, she said: \u201cI don\u2019t think they understand how much they have hurt me; it\u2019s as if they have cut my heart out.\u201d <\/p>\n

Of the swimmer\u2019s immediate family, only his sister Bethany was present, serving as one of Holly\u2019s bridesmaids.<\/p>\n

Mr Ramsay later addressed the wedding during an appearance on This Morning alongside his daughter Tilly Ramsay, telling presenters that his speech had been \u201cperfect and warm,\u201d despite reports it had caused upset within the groom\u2019s family.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing a dad of three daughters, you dream of that moment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

According to The Sun, Mr Ramsay praised his daughter\u2019s appearance, told Adam he was a \u201clucky man,\u201d and referenced the absence of some family members.<\/p>\n

In a charitable gesture, all floral arrangements from the wedding were donated to local hospices and churches following the event.<\/p>\n

During the interview, the celebrity chef acknowledged the previous year had been particularly demanding for his family due to the scale of the Bishopsgate project, describing it as \u201cthe most challenging 12 months of our entire lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Netflix documentary series Being Gordon Ramsay premiered on 18 February 2026.<\/p>\n

Spanning six episodes, the series provides a behind-the-scenes look at Ramsay’s life as he tackles opening five distinct culinary experiences within 22 Bishopsgate, London’s second-tallest building.<\/p>\n

Caroline has questioned why her speech at her son’s engagement party to Holly was omitted from the documentary, describing her speech as \u201c100 per cent full of love and positivity.\u201d <\/p>\n

Responding to a social media post from a relative, she suggested the segment had been deliberately cut, although she admitted she had not watched the six-part series.<\/p>\n

Adam\u2019s cousin Krystal also claimed she had been edited out of the engagement footage, posting on Instagram that she had been present but \u201cdidn\u2019t make it on Netflix.\u201d<\/p>\n
