\n\t\u201cI\u2019m always searching for projects that remind me why I fell in love with cinema,\u201d said Mello. \u201cHere in Paris, I\u2019ve found the perfect partners to bring to life this feverish poem, a delicate meditation on grief and cinema, shot on 35mm. Jo\u00e3o Paulo is one of the most fascinating and talented filmmakers I\u2019ve met in recent years, and Les Valseurs is the ideal production company, with a remarkable instinct for crafting films driven by creative force.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actor emphasized he is living a \u201ctruly unique and special moment\u201d in his life, \u201cdiscovering new cultures and expanding my creativity into new territories.\u201d \u201cEverything about this project is deeply inspiring, and I can say it has been one of the greatest artistic challenges I\u2019ve ever embraced: expressing myself in four different languages. \n\tWith plot details still kept tightly under wraps, \u201cI Don\u2019t Even Know Who I Was\u201d continues Mello\u2019s buzzy project line-up following his high-profile performance in Walter Salles\u2019s Oscar-winning drama. The actor also recently shot his Spanish-language debut, Dominga Sotomayor\u2019s highly anticipated \u201cLa Perra,\u201d also produced by Rodrigo Teixeira\u2019s RT Features. <\/p>\n

\n\tMiranda Maria, who currently lives in France, received the Cannes Label in 2020 for his feature debut \u201cMemory House,\u201d<\/a> while his short film \u201cThe Girl Who Danced With the Devil\u201d won a Special Mention at the same festival in 2016.\u00a0<\/p>\n
