After Alissa White-Gluz’s shock departure last November, Arch Enemy have announced their new vocalist.<\/p>\n

The appointment of ex-Once Human frontwoman Lauren Hart ends months of speculation and comes with a new single, To The Last Breath, which delivers the Swedish band’s\u00a0fiery melodeath sound featuring snarling vocals, sharp riffs, driving drums, and soaring twin guitars. Commenting on Hart’s appointment, founding guitarist Michael Amott said:<\/p>\n

“Connecting with Lauren has marked an important step in my journey. Working with her was an exceptional experience \u2013 her remarkable voice, coupled with her dedication and professionalism, brings a rare level of excellence. I look forward to continuing the collaboration!”<\/p>\n

On the new track, the band’s first since last year’s ‘Blood Dynasty’, he shared: “Make no mistake – this song is a reckoning. Musically, it\u2019s unapologetically aligned with my original vision for the band – and I believe longtime fans will recognise that immediately. Lyrically, it\u2019s about seeing through deception and dismantling the illusion of control. It captures that moment when you realise you\u2019ve been fed poison – and you choose to fight back. Once that clarity hits, there\u2019s no retreat. It\u2019s do or die.”<\/p>\n

To mark this\u00a0new chapter, Arch Enemy have\u00a0announced a short run of summer European and UK club shows for their\u00a0Back To The Root Of All Evil Tour, including stops in London and Manchester on August 10 and 11, respectively. They also have dates in Asia and South America scheduled for March and April. Tickets are on sale now.<\/p>\n
