As far as Shahid Kapoor<\/a> goes, it is being said that he will likely be featured as the third angle in the story. It is being suggested that the 2012 film\u2019s sequel will bring a refreshing take on modern relationships with a love triangle at its core. However, it\u2019s important to remember that none of the actors or the filmmakers involved in the project have officially confirmed this news.<\/p>\n

Shahid Kapoor Drops Major Update Regarding The Film<\/p>\n

During his recent Ask Me Anything session on Instagram, Shahid Kapoor was asked when the poster and release date for Cocktail 2 would be dropped. Without going much into details, the actor simply answered with \u201cSoon.\u201d Back in January, the project\u2019s director, Homi Adajania, shared that they had finished with the film\u2019s shoot. He shared a post on Instagram with all three stars of Cocktail 2, including\u00a0Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As per a report by Mid Day, it is being said that the project may release in September, ensuring that there is a six-month gap after O Romeo\u2019s release.<\/p>\n
