They would have also checked if he was in a fit state, physically and mentally, to<br \/>\nbe booked in.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Andrew would have had his rights<br \/>\nread to him &#8211; this includes regular breaks for food and to go to the toilet, and<br \/>\n the right to tell someone where he is.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">It\u2019s likely he would then<br \/>\nhave had this mugshot, fingerprints and DNA taken.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Andrew would then have had to<br \/>\ndecide whether to seek advice from the 24\/7 local duty solicitor while he<br \/>\nwaited for his preferred criminal lawyer, assuming he has one, to arrive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">While it\u2019s of course highly<br \/>\nunusual for a local lawyer to deal with a royal like this, these people are<br \/>\nexperts in helping suspects in the first hours of arrest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">His cell would have come with<br \/>\na toilet, and he would have been given the offer of bedding.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Given how long he was held,<br \/>\nhe would likely have received two meals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Aylsham Police Station was noted in<br \/>\na recent inspection for having more reading material for suspects than others,<br \/>\nfor them to while away the hours in their cell. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"View of building exterior.
