There’s no business like showbusiness and Ireland\u2019s brightest and best were out to impress at the IFTAs on Friday.<\/p>\n

Dublin\u2019s Royal Convention Centre was packed out with stars of the big and small screen, with plenty of style to admire.<\/p>\n

For 2026, plenty of the stars kept things elegant and stuck to an old style rule: if in doubt, go for a classic black dress. <\/p>\n

Leading the pack was Amy Huberman, who, let’s face it, never looks bad, and opted for a chic maxi dress instead of one of her more colourful outfits that we know and love her for.<\/p>\n

Amy’s dress is by celeb favourite designer Rebecca Vallance and it perfectly showed off her figure. Amy completed her look with a small gold clutch.<\/p>\n

Also keeping things classic on the red carpet was Niamh Algar. Niamh opted for a black maxi dress with a cut-out detailing on the back.<\/p>\n

Jessie Buckley, who is having one hell of an awards season, also went down the classy route and looked fabulous in her textured black dress, which she styled with pearl earrings.<\/p>\n

Another celeb going for a black look at the IFTAs was Clare Dunne, who wore a high-neck dress styled with black boots and a clutch.<\/p>\n

One of the standout looks from the night came from Alison Oliver, with the star channelling the gothic glam feeling of her latest film, Wuthering Heights, in her lacy white gown.<\/p>\n

Mixing things up a little and embracing the sparkle was Derry Girls’ Jamie-Lee O’Donnell, who looked incredible in a sparkling silver and black maxi dress.<\/p>\n

Actress Sarah Bolger also went all out in the sparkle stakes, wearing a figure-hugging gold dress adorned with hundreds of sequins. <\/p>\n

Away from the sparkle but looking just as glam was beauty boss Aimee Connolly, who rocked an eye-catching red dress from Reiss.<\/p>\n

Aimee told EVOKE that she’s had the dress for ages and left sorting her IFTAs red carpet outfit to the last minute – we’ve all done it, Aimee!<\/p>\n

We also have to give a special shoutout to House of Guinness star Anthony Boyle, who was looking very dapper in his suit.<\/p>\n

As things heated up on the red carpet, it was clear that there was certainly no shortage of star power ready to celebrate at the 2026 IFTAs.<\/p>\n

Cillian Murphy, nominated for Lead Actor in Film for his role in Netflix’s Steve, was also at the annual awards, as was Wuthering Heights’ Alison Oliver, and Saipan star Steve Coogan.<\/p>\n

Other celebs in attendance included Anthony Boyle’s House of Guinness co-stars Danielle Galligan, Jack Gleeson, and Fionn O’Shea.<\/p>\n

Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee, whose new show How To Get To Heaven From Belfast recently dropped on Netflix<\/a>, was also at the ceremony, as was Say Nothing and Trespasses actor Lola Petticrew.<\/p>\n
