Two men have been arrested this evening following an alleged assault on a man in Dublin on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The man is being treated at Beaumont Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.<\/p>\n

The assault occurred on Cope Street, Dublin 2 at approximately 12:30am.<\/p>\n

The two men, aged in their 20s and 30s, are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Garda Stations in Dublin.<\/p>\n

Garda\u00ed continue to seek the assistance of the public in identifying the victim who has a tattoo on the inside of his right forearm.<\/p>\n

The tattoo is described as a blue and white flag with the words \u201cCeol is Beatha\u201d, meaning music is life.<\/p>\n

Garda\u00ed are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact them. Anyone who was in the area of Cope Street between midnight and 1:00am, and who may have any information about the incident is asked to contact investigating Garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n
