Fans of Coronation Street<\/a> believe they’ve rumbled Ben Driscoll’s real brother in a huge DNA twist.<\/p>\n ITV<\/a> soap fans will recall that Ben (Aaron McCusker) made his Weatherfield debut with his family last year. His relatives include his sons, Ollie (Raphael Akuwudike) and Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale), his domineering mum Maggie (Pauline McLynn), and partner Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) – who made her comeback to the street after a seven-year absence<\/a>.<\/p>\n Ben famously purchased the Rovers Return from Carla Connor<\/a> (Alison King) as a surprise for Eva, with Maggie providing the remaining funds.<\/p>\n The new arrival has certainly made an impact amongst residents, having defended his son Will following accusations he attacked Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) – which he actually did. It must be because we’ve got Irish in us, you know. It’s in the blood,” he remarked. Corrie followers will know that Ben originates from Northern Ireland, the same place Steve’s father, Jim (Charles Lawson), calls home.<\/p>\n Steve’s best friend, Tim (Joe Duttine), soon interrupted the chat, feeling a pang of jealousy over Ben’s growing rapport with Steve.<\/p>\n The bond between Ben and Steve continued to strengthen in Friday’s (February 20) episode, now available for streaming on ITVX.
