On Thursday’s episode of The View, Savannah Chrisley got “eaten alive” by the other cohosts, and I’m absolutely living for it.\"Person<\/p>\n

In case you’re not familiar, she’s the daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley. You know, the reality TV\/real estate couple who served time in jail for bank fraud and tax evasion<\/a> until the Orange Man pardoned them last year. “President Trump didn’t just commute their sentences, he gave them a full unconditional pardon. So for that, I am forever grateful,” Savannah said<\/a> in an Instagram video after Trump called her personally to break the news.\"I<\/p>\n

So with that in mind, perhaps it’s no surprise that Savannah \u2014 a guest cohost during Alyssa Farah Griffin’s maternity leave \u2014 said on Thursday: “What’s so hard for me to witness is people stating that the president is a racist\u2014”\"TV<\/p>\n

Sunny Hostin<\/a> interrupted, saying, “He is a racist.” Undeterred, Savannah continued, “He saved one of my best friend’s lives, a Black woman who has been with him for 18 years.”\"Five<\/p>\n

“So, he has a Black friend. He’s a racist,” Sunny said, looking PISSED.\"Two<\/p>\n

“Here’s the problem, Savannah,” Whoopi Goldberg<\/a> began. She listed numerous points to support her agreement with Sunny, including the executive orders targeting DEI<\/a>, the racist post depicting the Obamas as apes<\/a>, Trump’s repeated statements<\/a> about the Exonerated Five, and discrimination against Black tenants<\/a> in the ’70s (he settled after being sued by the Justice Department).\"Person<\/p>\n

Sara Haines<\/a> brought up the Pentagon’s removal of webpages<\/a> dedicated to Black military members who fought for their country, yet “couldn’t even sit in certain places or drink from certain water fountains. They put their lives on the line!” She also pointed out that materials about the Tuskegee Airmen \u2014 the US’s first Black military pilots \u2014 were temporarily suspended<\/a> from Air Force training courses.\"Person<\/p>\n

“Let’s call a thing a thing,” Sunny said. “Donald Trump<\/a> is a racist.”\"Two<\/p>\n

The audience burst into applause while Sunny continued, “There is no question in my mind. It is time to say the truth and tell it like it is. And the most recent thing that he did by posting on Truth Social: the Obamas depicted as apes in The Lion King<\/a>, where there are no apes in The Lion King. That was a racist act. He tried to blame a staffer.”\"A<\/p>\n

“It, in fact, was a staffer who posted it,” Savannah interrupted, prompting Sunny to ask, “Can we please roll the clip?”\"Two<\/p>\n

The View then played a clip of Karoline Leavitt<\/a> from the previous day, saying, “It’s coming straight from the horse’s mouth. When you see it on Truth Social, you know it’s directly from President Trump.”\"Person<\/p>\n

Savannah emphasized the fact that two staffers have the log ins for Trump’s account, and Sunny ended with this: “Have either of those staffers been fired for that terrible post that they allegedly put up?”\"Two<\/p>\n
