Now, in an appearance on the Today<\/a> Show, the singer explained that she chose to put her family first when making the tough decision.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cOur family life, the dynamic changed a bit, and it has changed for a minute now,\u201d Clarkson said, adding, \u201cWe\u2019ve all got kids, right? And it\u2019s one of those things when you kind of start seeing life is how precious it is.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tShe also took the opportunity to clear up any misconceptions about her stepping away from The Kelly Clarkson show at the height of its popularity. \u201cI know everybody thinks, \u2018Oh, she\u2019s quitting,\u2019 but I still have other jobs, there\u2019s just too much on the plate,\u201d she said. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t the show isn\u2019t doing well.
