Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet recalls gross moment on ‘Interstellar’ set<\/p>\n

Timothee Chalamet recalled the unexpected send-off Matthew McConaughey gave him on his final day of filming Interstellar.<\/p>\n

The two actors, who first met on the set of Christopher Nolan\u2019s 2014 sci-fi epic, recently reunited during a town hall at the University of Texas at Austin\u2019s Moody College of Communication. <\/p>\n

At one point during the event the Marty Supreme star talked about the gross \u201csouvenir\u201d McConaughey, 56, left in the now three-time Oscar nominee\u2019s trailer on the last day of shooting. <\/p>\n

\u201cI gotta say, my last day on Interstellar, I was sad to be leaving,\u201d Chalamet, 30, recounted. \u201cIn my trailer, I went to the bathroom and there was a huge turd in my toilet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt so disrespected. Like, I know I\u2019m not the star of this movie, but who\u2019s coming in here? So I went around to all the grips, these big guys, and I said, \u2018Hey, one of you let it loose in my trailer.\u2019 They said no,\u201d he continued. <\/p>\n

\u201cI went up to Nolan, and he pointed to Matthew, and Matthew had this devilish grin on his face. I said, \u2018Why\u2019d you do that?\u2019 You said, \u2018In Texas, it\u2019s a coming of age, baby,\u201d the Dune lead reminded his \u201cmovie dad.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the American-French actor narrated the \u201ctrue story\u201d McConaughey quipped, describing the stinky moment as a \u201csouvenir.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the unversed, McConaughey played the father (Cooper) of Chalamet\u2019s character (young Tom) in Interstellar.
