Famous K-pop group BLACKPINK recently made history after hitting 100 million subscribers on YouTube. This has made fans very proud of the girl group, who have worked very hard to reach where they are. As per the global platform and the group\u2019s label, YG Entertainment, on Saturday, February 21, revised that BLACKPINK reached this milestone at 7 PM the day prior, roughly nine years and eight months after launching their channel in June 2016. They currently have about 648 videos. To celebrate this, YouTube revealed that it presented the girl group with a custom red Diamond Creator Award. They officially said, \u201cThe dynamic female powerhouse that is Blackpink has earned international acclaim on YouTube with their mega hit songs and fierce performances.\u201d<\/p>\n

In July 2020, the K-pop foursome became the first non-English-language artist to reach the top five in YouTube subscribers. It then surpassed global pop performers such as Ariana Grande, Eminem, Ed Sheeran, Marshmello, and Justin Bieber to become the world\u2019s number one in September 2021, a position it still holds.<\/p>\n

Blackpink has placed nine videos, including \u2018Ddu-du Ddu-du\u2019 and \u2018Kill This Love\u2019, in YouTube\u2019s \u2018Billion Views Club\u2019. It also claims three of the 10 most-viewed music videos within 24 hours of release. According to YG, Blackpink has 50 videos with more than 100 million views, while total channel views have surpassed 41.1 billion. The group is recognised by Guinness World Records as the most-viewed band on YouTube.<\/p>\n
