The legendary rock band’s Steven Tyler<\/a> and Joe Perry<\/a> joined the “Tongue Tied” singer for a performance in tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne at the 2025 MTV VMAs<\/a> earlier this month, and now they’re gearing up to release a new EP, One More Time \u2014\u00a0with the first single, “My Only Angel,” out now.<\/p>\n “Would you cry if I called you my angel? \/ Gotta leave, gotta leav\u0435, gotta leave you one mor\u0435 time,” sing Yungblud, 28, and Tyler, 77, on the rock song.<\/p>\n In a statement, Tyler described the creative process for the upcoming EP as “plugging into pure electricity” and said Yungblud (whose real name is Dominic Harrison) is “outrageously talented” and a “positively wild animal.”<\/p>\n “Here\u2019s this kid that lives his life out loud\u2026grew up on our records and the British invasion… and now we\u2019re\u00a0in the studio together creating something that bridges generations. He devoured all the same greats looked up to\u2026 and then he started to dream on.\u00a0It\u2019s as simple as that,” he added.<\/p>\n Manny Carabel\/Getty<\/p>\n Yungblud, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry in September 2025<\/p>\n Tyler noted the collaboration had the “same deep intimate pressure of necessity” of Aerosmith’s first time working in the studio together. “Yungblud\u00a0wants this next chapter in rock history and asked us to be a part of it,” he said. “We got on so well\u2026 the vibe in the room was epic from the start.”<\/p>\n “We had a blast\u2026 and were truly honored to write with him! Rock and roll becomes timeless when you pour your heart and\u00a0soul into it\u2026 that\u2019s when the magic happens,” concluded the “Dream On” vocalist.<\/p>\n Perry, 75, recalled learning Yungblud wanted to work together about a year ago. “I had heard his single and said, ‘Hell yeah, this guy\u2019s got the juice,'” he said in a statement.<\/p>\n Perry continued, “Four days in the studio and we got to know each other along with his team. I called\u00a0Steven and told him, you have to hear this guy Yungblud \u2014 he\u2019s the real deal. Fast forward to May and we\u2019re in the studio with Steven recording new music. The end result turned out to be an amazing collaboration between Aerosmith and Yungblud. I’m loving every second.”<\/p>\n One More Time comes out Friday, Nov. 21 and features “My Only Angel” as well as new songs “Problems,” “Wild Woman” and “A Thousand Days” \u2014\u00a0plus a new version of Aerosmith’s “Back in the Saddle.”<\/p>\n Kevin Mazur\/Getty<\/p>\n Joe Perry, Steven Tyler and Yungblud in September 2025<\/p>\n Yungblud, Tyler and Perry previously performed Osbourne’s “Crazy Train,” “Changes” and “Mama, I’m Coming Home” with Nuno Bettencourt at the 2025 MTV VMAs in tribute to the Black Sabbath rocker, who died on July 22 at age 76.<\/p>\n Ahead of the show, Bettencourt, 58, told PEOPLE his “15-year-old self\u00a0couldn’t “believe”<\/a>\u00a0he would be performing a tribute for the late rocker.<\/p>\n “We’re gonna blow the roof off the place and I think the fans are gonna be pleased.
