Dwayne Johnson may have owned cars worth millions, but the most eye-catching was worth just $30,000 and was one of the last cars produced by American manufacturer Plymouth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The wrestler and actor loves his cars, and has owned plenty of cool ones over the years, such as a Pagani Huayra and a Ferrari LaFerrari, cars worth millions.<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s perhaps a Plymouth that cost just $30,000 that catches the eye the most, thanks to its very unusual design, unlike any other modern car.<\/p>\n

This was a car designed to look like a hot rod from the 1920s and 1930s, and it certainly caught the eye.<\/p>\n

The unique Plymouth owned by Dwayne Johnson<\/p>\n

The car in question is the 1999 Plymouth Prowler<\/a>, something that looked truly bizarre.<\/p>\n

Designed by Chip Foose<\/a>, the aim was to create a retro-roadster with a design similar to a classic hot rod.<\/p>\n

Plymouth produced the car from 1997 to 2002, and it was one of the final cars sold under the Plymouth name.<\/p>\n

The company ceased operations in 2001, and the Prowler was marketed as a Chrysler in its final year.<\/p>\n

Originally conceived as a coupe, it became a roadster later on, and it was certainly strange to look at.<\/p>\n

It had a sharp and pointy design, very open wheels, and strange positioning for the front turn signals.<\/p>\n

When launched, the sticker price was $30,000, a far cry from the $2.5 million of the Pagani Huayra<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Not what Foose had originally hoped for<\/p>\n

While it had powerful styling, Dwayne Johnson<\/a> would have found the car not quite as it was originally intended.<\/p>\n

When designed, Foose and his team envisioned a manual transmission and a massive V8 under the hood.<\/p>\n

As it transpired, the car had a 3.5-liter EGG V6 engine under the hood, producing 214hp.<\/p>\n

Johnson\u2019s 1999 model had more power at 253hp, thanks to an upgraded aluminum engine block.<\/p>\n

Instead of a manual, the Prowler had a four-speed Autostick semi-automatic transmission.<\/p>\n

The V6 engine was good enough to give the car a top speed of 117mph.<\/p>\n

The 0-60mph time for the Prowler was 5.9 seconds.<\/p>\n

While not a 200mph monster, Johnson would certainly have turned heads while driving this strange sports car.<\/p>\n
