Bentley has revealed a limited-edition\u00a0Bentayga<\/a> in Japan described as its most \u201cfeminine\u201d interpretation of the luxury SUV to date, with production capped at just 10 examples.<\/p>\n

Created by Mulliner, the Bentayga Something Blue Collection takes inspiration from the traditional wedding rhyme \u201csomething old, something new, something borrowed, something blue\u201d \u2014 a motif that has curiously found favour in Japan.<\/p>\n

The SUV is finished in metallic Ice, a white shade with subtle blue undertones visible in certain light. It rides on 22-inch silver alloy wheels, with brake calipers colour-matched to the exterior.<\/p>\n

Seat backrests feature blue Bentley embroidery, while delicate blue floral motifs appear across the dashboard.<\/p>\n

The special edition was unveiled at Ooyane Plaza in Tokyo. Pricing begins at 34 million yen, approximately NZ$366K at current exchange rates, and several of the allocated vehicles have already been reserved.<\/p>\n

Mechanically, the Something Blue Bentayga retains the standard 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8. Output stands at 404kW and 770Nm, delivered between 2000rpm and 4500rpm.<\/p>\n

Bentley claims 0 to 100km\/h in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 290km\/h \u2014 figures unchanged from the regular V8 model.<\/p>\n

While the theme may be wedding-inspired, the performance credentials remain firmly in line with the broader Bentayga range. The changes here are aesthetic rather than mechanical, offering a tailored finish for buyers seeking exclusivity in carefully measured doses.<\/p>\n
