An apartment fire broke out in north Dublin in the early hours of Wednesday morning, leaving two people hospitalised.<\/p>\n
Dublin Fire Brigade<\/a> rushed to the scene in Holywell in Swords just before 1am. Five fire engines, including a turntable ladder and emergency tender, attended the blaze.<\/p>\n There were also two ambulances in attendance, from Swords and Finglas fire stations. They treated four people at the scene, with two of these taken to hospital.<\/p>\n Dublin Fire Brigade had the fire in control by 1.20am. A number of people were placed in emergency accommodation as a result of the fire.<\/p>\n Dublin Fire Brigade at the scene in Swords(Image: Dublin Fire Brigade\/Instagram)<\/p>\n Dublin<\/a> Fire Brigade said: “Shortly before 1 am five fire engines including a turntable ladder and emergency tender were sent to a well developed apartment fire in Swords in the early hours of this morning. Two ambulances from Swords fire station and Finglas fire station were also mobilised to the scene.<\/p>\n “Four people were treated at the incident with two removed to hospital.
