{"id":318987,"date":"2026-02-26T21:58:10","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T21:58:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/318987\/"},"modified":"2026-02-26T21:58:10","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T21:58:10","slug":"feds-miran-says-four-cuts-are-appropriate-this-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/318987\/","title":{"rendered":"Fed&#8217;s Miran Says Four Cuts Are Appropriate This Year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  By Jessica Coacci <\/p>\n<p>\n  Federal Reserve governor Stephen Miran said he thinks the Fed needs to cut interest rates by about a percentage point this year in a Fox Business interview Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>  &#8220;Four cuts I think are appropriate,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I&#8217;d rather get them sooner than later,&#8221; he added. <\/p>\n<p>  With regard to private credit, Miran said he hasn&#8217;t seen anything yet that would make him worried from a macroeconomic perspective.
