\n\tA Knight of the Seven Kingdoms<\/a> ended its first season on a high note, summoning 9.5M U.S. cross-platform viewers in three days, Warner Bros. Discovery said Thursday.<\/p>\n

\n\tThat\u2019s up nearly 42% from the series premiere, which managed 6.7M U.S. cross-platform viewers in the same time frame<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe first season is currently averaging around 14M U.S. viewers and 26M global viewers per episode, ranking as the third-largest series debut since the launch of HBO<\/a> Max, per WBD. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe series was renewed well ahead of its premiere, earning a Season 2 in November<\/a>. It is set to return next year.<\/p>\n

\n\tSet a century before the events of\u00a0Game of Thrones\u00a0and 72 years after\u00a0House of the Dragon,\u00a0A Knight of Seven Kingdom\u00a0follows two unlikely heroes wandering Westeros \u2026 a young, na\u00efve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey), and his diminutive squire, Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell). Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 1 cast also includes Daniel Ings, Bertie Carvel, Danny Webb, Sam Spruell, Shaun Thomas, Finn Bennett, Edward Ashley, Tanzyn Crawford, Henry Ashton, Youssef Kerkour, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor and Daniel Monks. Tom Vaughan-Lawlor and Daniel Monks. Martin and Ira Parker are co-creators\/executive produces, with the latter serving as showrunner.
