That\u2019s 10 percent higher than the opening week of season three in May 2024; like the current season, that one was split into two parts, premiering four weeks apart.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAbout 2.24 billion minutes \u2014\u00a074 percent of Bridgerton\u2019s total for the week total \u2014 were devoted to the four new episodes that premiered Jan. 29, Nielsen says, with the remainder coming from previous seasons. The tally for the new episodes alone would have easily led the week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/stranger-things\/\" id=\"auto-tag_stranger-things_1\" data-tag=\"stranger-things\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Stranger Things<\/a> held onto second place with 1.3 billion minutes of watch time, with the Netflix series showing a good amount of staying power a month after its series finale. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/the-pitt\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-pitt_1\" data-tag=\"the-pitt\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Pitt<\/a> (1.21 billion minutes) hit a series high for the fourth straight week on HBO Max.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tPrime Video\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/fallout\/\" id=\"auto-tag_fallout_1\" data-tag=\"fallout\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fallout<\/a> had its best week since the premiere of season two, notching 1.1 billion minutes a week before its season finale. It grew by 35 percent week to week. Marvel\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/wonder-man\/\" id=\"auto-tag_wonder-man_1\" data-tag=\"wonder-man\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wonder Man<\/a> premiered to 618 million minutes of watch time on Disney+.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tPrime Video led the movie charts with The Wrecking Crew, an action comedy starring Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa. It had 1.26 billion minutes of viewing, good for third place overall and more than double the amount for the second-place film (The Rip at 513 million minutes).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tNielsen\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/streaming-ratings\/\" id=\"auto-tag_streaming-ratings_1\" data-tag=\"streaming-ratings\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">streaming ratings<\/a> cover viewing on TV sets only and don\u2019t include minutes watched on computers or mobile devices. The ratings only measure U.S. audiences.
