The pickup is the first for a live-action scripted show on Fox this season, though several of its animated shows are all in the midst of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/simpsons-family-guy-bobs-burgers-4-season-pickups-fox-1236179586\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">multi-year orders<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe renewal for Animal Control comes on the heels of the show scoring an NFL-assisted series high in total viewers and adults 18-49 in late December. The show\u2019s current season streams on Hulu, and past seasons have been on Netflix for the past two months, where they\u2019ve accumulated nearly a billion minutes of viewing time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cWith the writing, ensemble, and audience response all landing at new levels, renewing\u00a0Animal Control\u00a0was an easy decision,\u201d said Fox Television Network president Michael Thorn. \u201cThe series launched to new highs in its fourth season, which is a direct reflection of the show\u2019s continued creative growth, outstanding producing team, and the incredible Joel McHale as our lead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAlongside McHale, Animal Control stars Michael Rowland, Vella Lovell, Ravi V. Patel and Grace Palmer as a group of animal control officers who are good with the creatures they encounter but less comfortable around other humans. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe series is produced in house by Fox Entertainment Studios.
